MCPs at Thorntree Primary School Hosted Two MSPs
The children hosted a Q and A With MSPs on COP26 Actions
Members of Children’s Parliament at Thorntree Primary School in Glasgow held a climate surgery with Ivan Mckee MSP and Paul Sweeney MSP. They called on the MSPs to create a plan for action at COP26 and wanted to see more involvement of Scotland in keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees.
Key messages included working together to support everyone around the world to cut emissions and realise a fairer future, and a closing note from Ivan Mckee that “it is so important for [children’s] thoughts and opinions on climate change to be known by everyone.”
